Shamen venture into forests to harvest herbs, molds, and exotic fauna. Predators that live in the canopies of the trees pose little danger if properly handled, and the larger ones can even be trained to respond to rewards of food.

After all combat, they disappear again. Withdraws at the start of combat round 3. Striders' hits give Strider's Venom (-1 hand damage, cumulative). Dispelled when killed. May be cast more than once.
